Ascent Trip Report

NUTTING HILL-NORTHEAST SLOPE clues (and others too!) per Ben Lostracco, thank you. A wide trail / old road leaves the east side of the Yellow-blazed Wapack trail 40 yards north of Nutting Hill. The trail to the wooded summit reaches and crosses an old stone wall at 60 yards. The highpoint is a 40 yard bushwack to the left, along the stone wall to a large tree with a blue "Commonwealth of Massachusets State Boundary Forest" sign along the line between Middlesex and Worcester Counties. A loop hike across today a trail of frozen hail and ice from Mt Watatic to Emerson Hill along the Wapack returning via the Midstate Trail to MA 119 TH on a clear blue sunny day for 6/14ths of MA Cty HPs.
