Ascent Trip ReportTrying to close out our single season, Jeff and I doubled up TFW and Carrigain today. Weather called for clear skies and sun - but from 6:30 - 10:30, when we did TFW, it was cloudy and snowing and cold. But the trails were mostly packed out - we microspiked it most of the way, and wore snowshoes for Field to Willey and down the Avalon trail to the junction. Then barebooted out. Saw J & J and chatted for a few minutes. Fast day on these packed trails - faster than our best summer time. And these 3 peaks finally closed out Jeff's 6th round. And he needs only these 3 peaks again to finish out his 7th round.
