Ascent Trip Report

Eric Noel's trip report nearly says it all. This is a residential area, and getting to the true highest point, or even determining the true highest point, could be a task in itself.

It is possible that the house near 72nd Ave South that satellites show as the original highpoint is still in the general vicinity of the highest plot of land. It is also possible that the construction of houses and other cultivation lowered the original point. I tried several areas nearby. My GPS actually found a slightly higher point accessed from the paved-driveway-like-unsigned-road due east (parallel) to 72nd Ave South. But GPS devices are not always 100% reliable, so it is anybody's guess. I visited enough driveways, walkways, and other ways to be satisfied with a successful summit.

This highpoint would be so much simpler if it were located at the large blue water tower nearby... but that location is clearly lower.
