|Date:||Saturday, December 31, 2011|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||2135 ft / 650 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI drove up West Evans Creek from the town of Rogue River and through the berg of Wimer to Sykes Creek. I turned up Sykes Creek and parked at milepost 1 at a wide spot.
I hiked up through the brush and found an old logging road that I followed as long as it was going up and going in the general direction that I wanted to go. When it turned south, I left it and climbed up a drainage to where I found another road that had been used by dirt bikes at one time. I followed the dirt bike trail to the summit. No real views because of the brush and forest.
