exhausting steep hike up; no stabilicers; tall firetower at the summit but the door to the platform was locked; smoked shortly after leaving. the descent was so steep that we had to glissade(?) down for much of the way. i was terrified at first (complicated by the state of mind), and had no choice but to follow. i was freaked out for most of the descent, but an adrenaline rush actually kicked in and i was in a great mood for the next few hrs.
