Ascent Trip ReportI approached Holderman Mtn after tagging Old Fairview and Huckleberry Mtn. From the top of the grade on Rock Creek Road where it reaches the Calapooya Divide about 18 miles from Hwy 138, continue north of Rock Creek Road another 4.6 miles and turn left, then at 5.4 miles turn left on unpaved FR 23-13-27.1. Go up this gravel road 1.1 miles then take the right fork, I saw a spotted owl along here, continue another 0.6 miles and then take the lesser road to the left another 0.2 miles where I parked. There was snow on the road that blocked my way, but the road ends in another 0.2 miles anyway.
I hiked up the road and then entered the brush. I went left through lots of brush to a ridgeline where there seemed to be some larger trees. Once in the trees the brush was not as intense, so I followed the ridgeline up to the rocky summit. No views because of the brush and trees.
