Ascent Trip Report

From the small parking area, my wife and I hiked up the main trail to Pic-de-l'Aube (920 m.), which for most of the trail is an old logging road. At the summit, we stopped for a snack and took in the great view overlooking the valley. She descended the same route, but I continued on the western route (Sentier de la Grande Traversée) to Mont du Blizzard (976 m.) and Mont Arthur-Allen (980 m.), before descending to our meeting point at Lac Thibault.
We used two-way portable radios to keep in touch and I only met about 6 other hikers. Total hiking time was about 5.5 hrs. The bugs weren't too bad, but I had brought along a can of bug spray.
