Ascent Trip ReportSugarloaf Mtn is a long drive into a logging area with limited access. The area is usually open to hunters on weekends during hunting season. From Fall City go west on the main road, stay right where Bridge Street goes left and zero your odometer. At 4.0 miles reach a gate that is normally locked and a bridge across the creek, at 10.8 miles turn left on S-Line road 8-8-12.0, at 11.7 go right, at 12.0 go left, at 12.8 go left then take the right fork, at 13.1 go right, at 13.9 go left then take the right fork, at 14.1 go left, and at 14.8 turn left on road 8-8-3. At 15.2 go right, at 16.1 go left where the road becomes rougher and brushy (you could hike from here). At 17.0 I stopped on the north ridge at an elevation about 3,360 ft. I hiked along the road to the high point which appeared to be a rocky area to the left of the road. There are some views along the road to the west and south.
