Ascent Trip ReportHiked to North Carter, Middle Carter, and South Carter with HikerAmiga (Nilsa) DaveBear (Dave), and Madriver (Rick). We took the Camp Dodge cutoff to the Imp Trail south, to the North Carter trail, to the Carter-Moriah trail. There we went a short ways north to summit North Carter, and then backtracked south and summited Middle Carter and South Carter. We then continued on to Zeta Pass, where we headed down via the Carter-Dome trail and Nineteen-mile Brook trail. Conditions all day were in the low 20s, partly cloudy, with about 6-8 inches of snow above 3,000 feet.
