Ascent of Quarry Mountain on 2011-09-06
|Date:||Tuesday, September 6, 2011|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||7418 ft / 2261 m|
Ascent Trip ReportA road leads to the top of this mountain since it has communications towers but that road is posted for no trespassing. Thanks to a report by Eric Willhite, there is a way to access the summit but it is a nasty bushwhack up the side of the mountain with an elevation gain of over 700 feet. The highest point was just to the northwest of the tower complex among the trees so be sure to look for where the highest area is. There is no cairn, register or benchmark but you'll know when you have located the highest spot.
