Ascent Trip ReportMade it to the top in time to see the Manchester NH Boy Scout Troop flying our Flag for the Flags on 48 9-11 memorial. Could see a giant flag all the way on Mt. Adams with the naked eye!! Great Job!
Wildcat Ridge Trail from Glen Ellis is very steep most of the way, with lots of scrambles and even a couple slightly scary ledges. Great trail, but I'm glad I went down the ski slopes rather than abuse the knees trying to return same route. This involved a 1.7 mile road walk, but I opted to parallel and take Lost Pond Trail. The water crossing at Wildcat Ridge trailhead was flowing strong enough to give you pause and choose your route carefully. No Bugs, even on the ski slopes!!
