Ascent Trip Report

Had to work in the morning, so didn't have much time. Had read about this climb, so it sounded like a nice little detour on our way down to Lake Placid. It was as described, a short but steep hike, though not technical. Very nice payoff for relatively minimal effort (less than 40 minutes up) - good views at summit, though somewhat hazy on the day I was there. It put my Saturday morning time at the office well behind me, and still got to Lake Placid in time for dinner.
