Ascent Trip ReportSummitted Jefferson via the Caps Ridge in fierce wind and fog. Gust over 50 mph knocked me down on the summit. Headed over to Mt Adams & Thurnderstorm junction...no storms thankfully. Summitted Adams with awesome pics of the Presidentials and Great Gulf. After Adams, went back to Edmonds Col and ate a powerbar behind HUGE rock as we watched the wind and clouds whip thru the Col. Thought a storm was comig so we made the decision to not summit Jeff again but instead took the cornice trail around Jefferson, over the Castles Trail and met up with the Caps Ridge again after some incredible rock hopping! Back down to the trailhead while looking for the moose who were in our area. Very easy to see how people could get lost in there. The ravine looked amazing with the water cascading down between Jefferson and Washington.
