Ascent Trip ReportAscended from the woods road just a couple hundred feet south of the Bucklin Trail parking lot. Followed the woods road up a gentle ascent, avoiding any spurs to the left. After the crossing of Eddy Brook, took a hard right up another woods road and followed this until it apeared to split, with the more-traveled road turning hard left. Continued to ascend until it was obvious (from GPS and compass) that a bushwhack up the side of Mendon was necessary. Trudged through spruce, fern, and lots of rotted vegetation on the forest floor. Near the top, picked up a herd path on the east side that led us to the summit witt a small clear area and a PVC-pipe register in a tree. Descended (more or less0 the way we ascended.
