Ascent Trip Report

One of a pair of Kent Marilyns (P150m hills) ascended at dawn prior to a Dover to Calais ferry trip. Both flat-topped hills with a trig point not on the summit and the true top a matter of opinion.

This is the most easterly Marilyn (and HuMP) in the UK. We parked near The Cat and Custard Pot pub in Paddlesworth and visited all possible significant locations, including the trig point (lower), the top of the covered reservoir (higher) and the field corner near the radio mast that is the probable natural highpoint.
