Ascent Trip Report

Started out trying for Allen but with a late start switched it up to do Giant and Rocky Peak Ridge. Began from Chaple Pond at 9:00am and made it to the summit of Giant by 12:30pm, Here is where the it got a bit hard. You will lose about 500 to 600 verticle from the split which is a real steep drop and it is also narrow. The climb up to Rocky Peak Ridge is also real tough. You will have a chance to take much needed break. The top has pleanty of room and spectacular views. If you are going back the way you came it will be a real fun climd up the saddle to the split of Giant. From the split down it should be about two to three hours.
