Ascent Trip Report

First hike on the Fire tower challenge. Decided after last hike in the high peaks to try something alittle less challenging. Plus I brought my wife and two young (7 and 5) sons with me. The day while a bit hot but otherwise really nice. For the two small ones, the excitment was unbelievable. Actually they motivated my wife and I termendiously. We made great time up the mountain. Spent some time on the tower and headed back down. What a day, the only bad spot was the horseflies or whatever they were on the summit. When we got back in the car and headed for the promised ice cream, my oldest just spoke up and said "Dad, can we do this again tommorrow?" It just doesn't get any better than that.
