Ascent Trip ReportGreat summer day with clear views!
After walking along the Shore Trail, we took off the Island Explorer to the Blackwoods stop, and walked about a quarter mile to the South Ridge trailhead. Hiked up to the top, with a jaunt over to Eagle Crag.
Planned to go over to Dorr as well and then down to Sieur de Monts, but the fiancée was tired, so we just went down the North Ridge.
First big day-hike in my Fivefingers.
