Ascent Trip Report

This was a fun hike with a variety of terrain and weather. We took the west ridge up, and this turned out to be a mistake- BAD bushwhacking and the fact that everything was wet only made it worse. On the way down we took the southeast slope to what is shown as a jeep trail on the topo, but in reality it was now just a (sometimes faint) footpath. While this route is a little longer and has more elevation gain (some elevation is lost on the main road as it heads east), it is quicker and easier due to better terrain.
