Ascent Trip ReportLeft the trailhead at 1:30 AM, trying to hit the summit by sunrise. Very wet trails, with some snow on the trails during the last third of the mountain. Very thick fog the entire way up.
We reached the summit about 30 minutes after sunrise, and the clouds at the top of the mountain cleared out. FANTASTIC views of the Presidentials, Pinkham Notch was full of clouds, but we could see mountain tops poking out of the sea of white.
One of the most memorable views I've ever seen.
