Ascent Trip Reportw Monica and the randomites (Ashley, Larry, and Stephen). What a great day today. Blue skies, warm temperatures, and still no bugs (yet). We got a lot accomplished on the trail - we used axes and saws to remove seven blown down trees that blocked the path, pulled one "widow maker" down (a top of a one tree blown off and stuck in the branches of another tree, just waiting to fall on someone), cleared out the muck from at least 100 different drainage areas, and did the bushwhack to summit of Wolf. It was great to welcome Steven to the group - he did a fantastic job route finding along the way. Always good to See Ashley and Larry. Only downside to hiking in spring - postholing. There was lots of it above 2,500 feet.
