Ascent Trip Reportascended and descended via the Carter Moriah trail. Parked at the trailhead off of Bangor Street in Gorham NH. Trail was almost completely iced over from previous weeks thaw and freeze. Needed crampons and good traction snowshoes the entire trail. It was 6 degrees, and winds were 70mph constant, with higher gusts. Snowed 2 inches during the trip. Some ledges were time consuming because of the ice, but a very nice consistent ascent.
