Ascent Trip Report

w Monica and the randomites (Pete, Ashley, Kristen, Sean, Natalie, Pam, Jesse, Monica, Carmen A, Jim H, and Michael Kosowicz). Wasn't sure what to expect for snow after the blizzard but someone had already broken the trail out for us, so no knee-deep to battle through. The temperature was perfect but it would have been nice to have a view. We did the loop clockwise, climbing the very steep leg to N Hancock first then over to S Hancock before sledding down the steep south leg. The hike up and the sledding down was much steeper then a remember. It felt good to exact revenge on the North Peak after having to turn back last winter. Great group of hikers - not one person flinched when the steeps came. We made excellent time (in fact beat summer book time) despite time spent searching for a lost GPS (found) and phone (still MIA). While it is always great to see the regulars it was nice to be able to welcome Jim and Michael to the group. ”
