Ascent Trip ReportI certainly can't leave a peak unclimbed, especially one as easy as Inspiration. Started at the Keys View parking lot and topped out 40 minutes later after passing over both false summits. Duane & I did a moonlight hike back in October to the false summit but wimped out of doing the summit between the darkness and fact that we were tired after rock climbing in the park all day. It was a great way to get out for a few hours on Christmas Day and knock out an easy peak. The weather was perfect: temps in the 50s and a slight breeze, high clouds, visibility to the Salton Sea, Fish Creek Mountains, and beyond - probably Mexico...
