Ascent Trip Reportw Monica, Jeff, Karine, Jesse, Marta, Monica, Joe, and Alan. Everything that I read when preparing for this trip said the that while the bushwhack section was really more of a herd path it was steep in sections. I can say they were correct on both counts. The off-trail section was right where they said it was and the route was rather obvious (even with undistributed snow on the ground). Sorry again about the mixup in the trip description but I figured if you're going to hike about 7 miles why not go about 12 miles and make a full day out of it. Jesse and Monica did a great job route finding once we left the trail. Good to see Marta and Joe again and nice to finally meet Alan. Monica, Jeff, and Karine make every trip a great one. Now onto winter!
