Ascent Trip Report

This was a quixotic attempt on Mt. Siyeh, a 10,000 foot monster of a peak in Glacier National Park. For some dumb reason, I thought I could start at 2 PM, after already hiking Mount Oberlin that day, and bag this huge and challenging mountain solo. After a short hike on the approach trail I came to my senses and turned back. It was hot and sunny, but clouds were building, and I realized this peak really needed a full day.
