Ascent Trip ReportHit the trail early to get Moriah as quickly as possible from Carter-Moriah trail. Nice scenic trail up, but the ledges were icy and LOTS of thick ice higher on the trail. Needed crampons, but had to make do with microspikes and going off trail at the steepest sections. Slowed us down some. Very chilly up top, but great views of everywhere - clear skies in every direction. Nice summit.
