Ascent Trip Reportwith the randomites - Monica, Emily, George, Raymond, and Sunny. While the weather forecast earlier in the week promised sun and warmth, the updated forecast called for light snow showers and lots of wind. They knew what they were talking about - the snow flurried a bit but the whipping winds near the top and at the summit made for near winter-like conditions. There were few views from the summit, unless you consider looking at the inside of a storm cloud interesting. As always it was great to hike with Monica and Emily. It was also nice to see George again and welcome Raymond and Sunny to the group.
