Ascent Trip ReportGreat hike! Wonderful trail, excellent views of Death Valley, a must-do hike in one of the most beautiful National Parks in the country. I topped out in about 2 hours and lounged on the south slopes of the peak just below the summit in the warm sun for a few hours. I met a cool guy who was leading a scout group up and we hiked the last 1,500 feet or so together. While lounging below the summit I met a cool couple from Switzerland & Romania - good thing I've been to both. I figured lounging in the sun would be great acclimatization for my Telescope Peak from below sea level the next day, so I hung out a little while longer before hiking down.... Pictures from the whole weekend
