Ascent Trip ReportWe thought it unlikely we would be able to get too high up the road network that takes you to the W ridge route. Therefore we turned off of FS 5483 to take the road system going up the SE part of the peak. I was quite surprising at the lack of snow and we drove over 4000'. I guess winter is not quite locked in yet. From here we walked the road and dropped a little as it went to the saddle just SE of the peak. We continued until we were due E of the peak and then we headed off into the woods to find the highest ground. No issues here and we were at the top in due time. We picked our highest stump and called it good and then headed back down to walk some more snowy roads in the drizzle. Tis a Loser indeed.
