Ascent Trip ReportHiked with Gina and Cullen from Crawford Notch to Mount Tom. Across the ridge to Mounts Field and Willey. Turned around and re-summited Field. On the way down we hiked up Mount Avalon. There were gorgeous views of Mount Washington and the Presidentials from all of the summits (just beyond the summit at most). The trails up were quite good and mostly easy. The Avalon Trail from the summit of Field down to the junction with the AZ trail was Very icy. All in all the hike was quite easy.
