Ascent Trip ReportI hiked Grand Monadnock from Hwy 124 and took the White Arrow trail. The fee is $4 to hike in the state park. I hiked up the nice gravel road to the site of the Halfway House and then followed the steep White Arrow trail to the summit. The route is simple, just follow the white arrows painted on the rocks all the way to the summit. Great views from the summit. On the way down I followed the Halfway House Trail instead of the road. The trail was pretty throught he forest with the changing colors of the trees.
