Ascent Trip Report

Headed over to Sawmill after Pinos. The trail is great and easy to follow. There is a giant cairn on top built by Emil Richter. We signed the summit register and headed back over Mt Pinos to fix the date in our first summit register entry and head back to the car. Overall, Sawmill is a great hike with a great view.

Aidan and I realized that we signed the summit register on Pinos with the wrong date so we had to correct it as we headed back over the summit on our way back to the car. We fixed it, so all good now...

Extra elevation from re-ascent of Pinos on the way back to the car.
