Ascent Trip ReportParked at the turnaround on 214 near Notch Inn Road and headed up from the road. Took the trail up to the saddle and hung a left onto Warner Creek up Daley Ridge. Lots of nice views on spur trails. Met Edna, Mike, and Lu part way up as they were coming down on their way from Plateau to Tremper. Met some dumb guys talking on cell phones on the ledge just above 3,500'. The flat top seems to go on forever. Ate lunch on the ledge facing Sugarloaf which has a very nice view. Headed back down on the Devil's Path past Danny's Lookout and Orchid/Orchard Point. Watched a shadow bar pass over the Blackheads and Tannersville from Danny's. Tore my pants climbing on the boulder there too. Nice chute below OP. The trail down to the Devil's Tombstone was very dry and crumbly and the waterfall was dry. Took some photos of the beginning autumn color from Notch Lake and hiked it back along the road. Surprisingly the beaver pond(s) along the road were full of very clear water.
