Ascent Trip ReportMet my Dad for breakfast at 7 am to celebrate his 65th birthday. Was on the road by 9:30 after a detour to Dunkin Donuts. At the TH by 10:30. Trail was easy going for the first half and then as described in other reports steepened in the second half. Trail was pretty slick in some areas and some of the steepest parts took some careful planning. I made the summit in under 2 hours and was able to get some amazing photos from inside the tower. After some lunch I hit the trail and was back to my car by 2 pm. Number 17 in the FTC.
