Ascent Trip Report

Having just arrived in Colorado from sea level, I took the Pikes Peak cog railway to the summit. Quite good fun, although the summit area is somewhat spoiled by too much clutter of long-since demolished buildings plus debris from road surfacing (apparently you will be able to drive all the way to the top on tarmac as of next year (2011).
