Ascent Trip Report

Standard trail: East Fork Sibley Creek (road 1540).
Cool conditions, some extended snow patches. Low visibility; only view was of the lake. Distant thunder on ridge, elected to attempt main summit on condition that we'd bail if the thunder got closer. Scrambled quite a way along the ridge before the next clap of thunder, then picked up the pace as the thunder came in quite close. Descended as fast as possible, but rain came in while we were still contouring around to the NE.

A glorious "summer" day out.
