Ascent Trip Report

This was the first summit for both myself and my oldest son, Patrick. Just a wonderful esperience for us both. We started from Devil's Lake campground and hiked up the South Ridge route. Had to cross several glaciers, but easily reached the summit in about 5 hours. Many butterflies greeted us on the top. A great adventure before Patrick headed off to college in the Fall.
