Ascent Trip ReportMy source of information was Fallesen's book, this is drive-up.
Located at the southwest corner of the County and approaching from the north at the village of Cazenovia (southeast of Syracuse), I took hwy #13 south about 9.5 miles to Sheds where I picked-up #80 east (a beautiful drive) for 3 miles to a left turn on Fire Tower Road. Fallesen gives this road as being 3.1 miles north of Georgetown.
Drive 1.75 miles on Fire Tower Road to a right turn on a dirt road, it is signed "Morrow Mountain State Forest", follow this dirt road, through a beautiful forest with tall trees, for 1 mile to the flat/wooded summit with no views. There are 2 Communication Towers in a large clearing.
