Ascent Trip Report

After bagging Delaware at 4 (am), we rolled through Philadelphia (stopping to take pictures of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, of course, around 5 am) and to the aptly named New Jersey high point.

We got to High Point around 9 am and walked up the road to the tower at the top. It was crazy-windy, but even though the high point isn't very high, there were some nice views from the top. The "hike" was much more difficult than it should have been since we were running on Wawa coffee and no sleep.

On the way down, Jerry fell through the frozen lake at the bottom of the hill and got soaked. But still, very well worth it; An excellent high point and an excellent trip.
