Ascent Trip ReportFrom Brush Mtn continue on down the mapped road to the LaFleur Lakes. What is this? A good road. I can't believe it. Of course, you'll want to leave it and take the road up to the 2700 saddle N of Rainy Ridge. More unpopular roads with weeds. Decent roadbads but not many folks are driving these. No access issues. Anyway, continue on to the 3200' saddle SE of the summit. Wrap around the peak until as close as you get to it. Then park and just walk up. No problems, no real brush. No views, no rewards. Move on. We believe the big contour is higher than the small contour. Whatever.
