Ascent Trip ReportPretty easy but a little bit trickier than the Spokane Reservation driveups. From the hwy turn W on BIA 68 as mapped. Follow this decent although lesser used road as mapped. At the edge of Sections 20 and 29 there is a junction with a 4WD road and the main road as shown on the map. Watch for this because the 4WD is actually the high use road here and it continues to a dead end at a house. Instead the much fainter road heading dead ahead is the one you want. It's as mapped but by following the best road we were momentarily lead astry. From that point the road is still decent although maybe a little bit sketchy for a passenger car. There were a few muddy and rocky spots and it is not seeing too much use. But you can drive to the top. At first glance the summit seems to be right where the road sort of ends and features a concrete block. But a little bit of walked maybe a 150 feet to the S will reveal another rise that I would guess is higher. This S area features the square remains of a lookout foundation.
You actually cross out of the reservation on the route up. Therefore there is oddly a No Trespassing sign on the drive down as you enter back onto the reservation but this is of course nothing to worry about.
