|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||4110 ft / 1252 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI apprached Acker Rock from South Umpqua River Road. The access is paved most of the way. The gate was ope, so I drove up close to the fire lookout. Nice maintained trail to the top. Great views. I climbed a nearby rock that looked to be the same height as where the lookout is located. Rock climbers climb these cliffs and it is called the Peregrine Traverse. The area is closed during nesting season. Check with the forest service.
