Ascent of Collins Ridge on 2010-06-16
|Date:||Wednesday, June 16, 2010|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||3740 ft / 1139 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI drove up on logging roads from the South Umpqua River Road. I visited all 3 of the closed 3700' contours and I think the northern most one is the highest. Summit has been logged and replanted. 20-30 ft trees make hard to see very far. The contour on the southwest is on the edge of a non-logged area. Good roads, cloudy day, no views.
