Ascent Trip Report

Peak 6970 was a continuation of a hike from Peak 6734 and on to Alvord Peak. I was following an up and down rolling ridgeline up increasingly higher hills. The footing was great through grass and wild flowers. Peak 6970 was the last peak before descending over 400 ft to Buckwilder Pass and then up to Alvord Peak. There were a few large patches of snow on the north side of Peak 6970, but they were easily avoided. Hiking stats are all combined on the Alvord Peak page.
