Ascent Trip Report

Quick solo hike after work. Started at about 6:15pm. Trail is in fine condition - dry and all blowdown has been cut out. Snow up the final ridge - can be avoided by staying on the rocks but many tracks showed that people were using the snow for a direct route. Weather was cool - breeze was out of the west and clouds were low. Views were pretty much none existant from the lookout. Hike down was quick, back in the car at 9:30pm. Saw bear tracks on the snow about .4 miles from the top.
