Ascent Trip Report

After meeting some fellow Bostonians at Full Goose, I traversed the famous Mahoosuc Notch, the hardest mile on the AT. It would have been much more fun without a pack, but it was still fun in general, just slow going. Crawling in, around and over boulders was something I had not experienced at all on the AT. After getting out of that, the climb out of the notch where the boulders had all fallen from was just as bad, if not worse, than the notch.

Did it a year later with Kathy, much easier with a day pack.
