Ascent Trip ReportNancy Pond Trail in poor condition several blow-downs, post-holing snow, rotted bog bridges(I broke thru 2) and beaver dam has backed up water over portions on trail around Norcross Pond. "Unmaintained" trail up Nancy was actually in better shape. Saw Wood frogs(?) breeding on their one day a year for lovin' in the pond and a black bear sow w/ 2 cubs crossed the trail 30 yds ahead of me. i was downwind luckily.
