Ascent Trip ReportCarter Notch Hut bootleg trip with Erika Bloom and others. Started from Nineteen Mile Brook Trailhead and hiked up to the hut with overnight packs. Dropped some weight at the hut, ate lunch and ascended to Carter Dome. Returned to hut for dinner and drinks.
Next morning, investigated possibility of ascending Wildcats from the hut, but nearly two feet of fresh snowfall over the weekend made this very difficult to do solo without GPS. Returned to 19-Mi Brk Tr and caught up with rest of group about halfway down. Continued descent to cars at trailhead.
