Ascent Trip ReportStarted cloudy, but cleared throughout the day. Had nice views from Mt. Hight. Was warm at trailhead - 40s, cooled to around freezing as we ascended. Crazy wind speeds were forecast, but hardly felt a breeze at the summits. Little snow on ground at trailhead - just used spikes for first mile, then switched to snowshoes for most of hike. A few stream crossings and collapsing snow bridges. Snow much softer on way down. All in all a great day!
